Mother's Day

It's interesting to celebrate Mother's Day when you're a single mom and have a toddler. It turns out to be just like any other day, although I took more time to hug him. Now that I'm a mom, I completely understand why motherhood is a thankless and rewarding job at the same time. :)

In honor of Mother's Day, there was a freebie (not sure how long it will be up, so grab it while you can!) from Scrapaneers on their Facebook page - pocket cards to commemorate motherhood:

My favorite card out of all is this one:
Isn't this the truth?!? Sometimes I wonder why I didn't get more done before I became a mom. I mean, I did lead a pretty full life, so I was fairly busy with different things. Unfortunately, now I don't have time for all those things. I guess it's just a shift in priorities. These days, my biggest priority is my son - as I believe it should be.

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms!
