Although it's been raining the last few days, it was actually dry when we set out this afternoon, so we caught some really nice photos of the fall colors. It was also a little cold since we drove up to a much higher elevation.
We also tried to stop at a little cafe and check out the after-Halloween decoration sales, but unfortunately showed up five minutes after they closed so we didn't get a chance to go in. Oh well...maybe next year?

Lovely!! Lovely, Lovely!!! How delightful to see the colors and how very similar they are -- in spite of the vast difference in our geography. The name Yamhill is delightful and at first I thought you must have made it up as it sounds fictional- must include that in your novel when you finally write it!
