Sometimes I get into a creative rut because I'm tired or working too much. And when it comes time to create something, I just don't have any idea what to do.
Last night, I was having trouble sleeping, so I started thumbing through Journal Revolution by Linda Woods and Karen Dinino. I had purchased it awhile ago, but I hadn't picked it up in ages. This book is AMAZING!
As I turned page after page, I was suddenly inspired. True, it wasn't inspiration for my usual style, but at least it was something to get my creative juices flowing.
