Whirlwind Weekend...

It's been a busy weekend, starting with an early morning roadtrip to Seattle to attend the CK scrapbook convention in Seattle. Anh and I decided to drive out today so we could attend some stuff tonight and most of Saturday.

Out of four classes, one was very inspiring--a very simple idea of making a tag album. I'm hoping to re-use the idea for Punky Sprouts sometime. Overall, we had fun, spent a lot of money on scrapbooking stuff that we probably don't need (LOL!), and also got our creative juices flowing. Here we are on Friday afternoon, after our drive up to Seattle...

And, it was a very good thing we took Anh's SUV, because we managed to pack the backseat... I also attended a friend's wedding reception. Lisa had invited me to the reception, and I brought John along since I didn't know very many of Lisa's friends. Got a few pics that actually turned out...

Taking Time...

I spent a lot of this weekend relaxing for the first time in weeks. It had been a fairly stressful week, emotionally and physically--not as bad as the week before, but still pretty trying. So, here it is, Sunday night, and I'm sad that the weekend is over.

Movies, lunches with gal pals, naps...that all helped refresh me and my spirits this weekend. Of course, it could have also been my first visit with the acupuncturist on Friday.
