Primero de Novembre

Is that right, Victor??? (Can you tell I just had Italian class tonight???)

I spent this morning with the munchkin and took a bunch of photos while I was babysitting. This is a very small sampling of the 75+ photos I took...

We watched the Baby Sign Language video from Baby Einstein at least 3 times. I learned a few signs I didn't know. ;) For the most part, it was a breeze taking care of the munchkin today. Must have worn her out, though, since she took a 3-hour nap starting at noon today. (This info was from her parents.) I gotta say--I'm pretty pooped!

Today's heritage scrapbooking class at the senior center was very low-key. Half the class was out (there are only 4 in the class), so we spent the time finishing layouts. No writing today, since last week's assignment was fairly challenging. I know I had some trouble writing mini biographies on my siblings. Next week's class will be easier--just doing a page on a favorite family recipe.

As for Italian...well, I was slightly confused. I think I'm going to have to put a little more time in this weekend trying to study.

In the meantime, have to finish drafting the rest of the wholesale newsletter before I turn in and take off for the CK convention early Friday morning.

Hope your November has kicked off to a good start!

Photo Fun with Charlie

I experimented a little with my fixed lens today. Charlie was a willing participant, even though she was a little busy with her phone calls. (Note to other shutterbugs: It helps to have your subject strapped into a car seat!)

T-T-T-Tuesday...

October has sure flown by! My least favorite holiday of the year is tomorrow. I don't know what's so great about Halloween, aside from all the chocolate! ;) Of course, chocolate is year round...

So today has been a bee of activity. I've made a lasagna for the potluck at work, started working on my samples for class on Thursday, finished a freelance project...

I feel productive! What a concept for me! ;)

This past weekend, I also got inspired (which is why I'm actually scrapbooking) by going to scrapbooking stores with the other two musketeers... Here's a photo...
This store was awesome! I loved it, and I plan on going back sometime soon...

Still have to study Italian sometime today, along with going to a staff meeting. Until later!
